Your desires are only a nudge, a suggestion as to your life's purpose. But Purpose is not Destiny. You can fool around and miss it trying to please people, be perfect, avoid mistakes, settling for less, avoiding responsibility/self-discipline, trading safety/comfort for true growth, doubting your worthiness or ability, feeding your ego, merely reacting instead of thinking, etc.
